The proposed two storey modern restaurant was designed near the main entry of the Pentridge Development site. The proposed design aimed to provide a simple and elegant form against the traditional heavy form of the blue stone walls.

The minimalist form of the proposed building and the use of large glass sections and rustic cladding allowed the building to sit lightly between the surrounding historic walls, thus showcasing their historic significance and forming part of the restaurant’s both internal and external ambience both during the day and night.

The internal design allows for general dining and gathering areas, small group functions and a bar facing a central sun lit atrium.
